About me

The first memory I have of being interested in being behind the camera came when watching a zombie film with my mom. I had to be about 2 years old and I was terrified. My mom tried convincing me that the zombies weren’t real. I remember desperately asking her, how she knew this. She tried explaining a set filled with actors and people holding cameras, but at that time, I couldn’t imagine it. And I have been obsessed with it ever since.

In my journey, my mother gifted me a 35mm camera that I LOVED. I saw everything through that tiny lens.

Years later, I took a TV production class and it just happens that my teacher was also the school photographer. So, I did everything I could to help him and the team of students he trusted with his equipment just so that I too could be part of the “club”.

I’ve captured so many images. Some have been lost with online media changing all the time. My dream is to see my photographs hanging from people’s businesses or homes. Like art, you see in the museum.

Photo Journalism and documentary-style film are my favorite style. I used to watch silent

films with my dad as a child and loved how he would explain every detail. I know now he was probably inventing most of it. But I like that about the entire silent films and about the photographs. It evokes emotion.

Although this site is mostly dedicated to the love for photography, one day I will also add videos. I’m also using it to write and document moments and thoughts from my point of view.

There should only be one direction in which we move…
Forwards!
